The location, parking, and grounds are all first class. We have played all over the state this year and choccolocco Park has all the other parks beat hands down. The facility is beautiful. The only complaint I have is the concessions are way overpriced. Otherwise I could easily have given it a 5 star rating.
Great place for walking and jogging and bike riding. Beautiful lake and views. Has historic Indian burial mound. Has free bathrooms. Handicap parking and access. Has free children's play area. Baseball and soccer fields are located here.
Safe, clean, and family-friendly doesn't do this park justice. It just can't be beat. The kids got to feed the fish, and we had as decent a run as you can for four guys ages 7-35. The citizens and City of Oxford deserve some props with this local gem.
There is an awesome, fenced in playground that is great for lots of ages. A great covered seating/picnic area with vending option for drinks and ice cream. Bathrooms were clean and had a changing table. Beautiful, historic walking path with seating and bridge. Wonderful views of the lake with a great fountain that lights up at night. Also features 2 brand new, well lit docks that are safe for kids to play on. Dog friendly. And that's just the pedestrian area. This is also a full service sports park. Loved it!!
Beautiful, well lit park with an excellent walking trail. State of the art playground equipment for the kids.
